Es la primera de las pocas grabaciones oficiales con Marc Bolan (aquí a la guitarra). El single contaba con una mezcla en Mono no demasiado inspirada.
Esta preciosa mezcla en Stereo, bastante diferente a la anterior, fue publicada por primera vez en el recopilatorio The Best of David Bowie 1969/1974 (EMI, 1997).
En 1973, Bowie grabaría una definitiva e insuperable versión para el álbum Aladdin Sane.

In 1970, Bowie wrote and recorded this pretty song thinking on Angie, and it was released as a single the same year. It's the first of the very few official recordings together with Marc Bolan (on guitar). The single version was a not too inspired Mono mix.
This lovely Stereo mix, much different to the previous one, was released for first time on The Best of David Bowie 1969/1974 (EMI, 1997) compilation.
In 1973, Bowie would record a definitive and unsurpassable version for the Aladdin Sane album.
